I provide a daily diary journal for parents of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. This book provides a little window into your child’s world whilst they are with me – an informal “fun” book. I note down things I observe, something new said or done, “WOW” moments, or little snippets of information for the parents. Photos really bring your child’s explorations and project work to life so I will share these with you regularly.

I can discuss your child’s progress at any time and share information from your child’s learning journey.

I provide regular assessments of child development and provide parents with a summary report and next steps for development. I also provide a book which lists all food and drink consumed and nap times are noted. Each child has an individual art folder for their work and art work is displayed on the wall within the setting so that children can see and celebrate their works.

I publish newsletters every six months, winter and summer which includes information on what activities we have been doing and projects we have covered following a child’s interest in a particular subject or theme.

Chargeable Extras
I offer 30 hours FREE entitlement hours per week which is dependent on availability. This will also depend upon whether you wish to do term time only or a stretched offer. I work 48 weeks a year, and I am able to offer term time only or stretched funding. There is no charge for this funding.

For any additional hours purchased outside of the funding that you have available to you individually, this will be charged at £7 and includes all foods and consumables.

Meals and snacks are provided at my setting. I can offer breakfast, such as cereal or toast and fruit, a mid-morning snack such as a cracker and cheese, a sandwich type lunch with fruit with yogurt and a hot dinner. Hot meals are sometimes served at lunchtime. However, it will depend upon the session hours as to what meals are provided. I will discuss this with you when you come and view my setting, about the timings of the meals, and what is available for the different session lengths.

For the age groups of 9 months to 2 years, and 2 years to 3 years, there is no charge for meals and snacks. No additional food charges are due.

However, for the age of 3-4 years, there will be a charge for meals which I can provide or you have the option to not purchase food and to bring your own food for the session.

I charge a daily consumable charge of £4 per day for a full session such as 8-6pm for the 3–4-year old funding. For half day, I charge £3.00.

I DO NOT provide nappies, wipes or suncream and I ask that the parents provide these in the child’s bag.

I offer Tax Free Childcare. Please visit the government website for information.

I am registered with various childcare voucher schemes. However, if I am not already registered with a particular childcare voucher scheme, I can arrange this.

I am registered with East Sussex County Council to offer Funded Early Education spaces for three or four year olds. I am also registered to offer Funded Early Education for 2 year olds. For more information on these initiatives, please contact me for more information.

I was awarded “Outstanding” from Ofsted at my last inspection. You can view the Ofsted report here.
